Great landscapes require great light, great technique and careful planning.

David and Peter will lead a practical landscape  photography workshop including two shoots, inspirational audio visuals, essential postproduction, mini-critiques of your work and we’ll make a print of your best shot from the workshop.

The venue is on David’s farm in the magical Hunter Valley, although we’ll also be shooting in the surrounding landscape as well.

We’ve timed the workshop so you can drive from Sydney, stay overnight in a hotel nearby and make a weekend of it.

AWAY the Art of Photography Workshop

HAMILTON ISLAND 7TH JULY - 11 JULY 2013

Whether amateur or professional, this workshop is for you! Spend time in the field, working hands on with two of Australia’s best known photographers and leading industry people in one of the most beautiful locations in the world, Hamilton Island. Workshop sessions will cover both technical and aesthetic aspects, as well as the promotion and marketing of photography. Watch David Oliver shoot a mock wedding, listen to Peter Eastway explain the subtleties of his landscape technique, let Bruce Pottinger demystify the complexities of digital processing and printing and explain the art of aerial photography.
